About Orca Whales and their Habitat
This year, our 4th grade class is studying Orca Whales. We are learning about Orca habitat, family structure, communication, and Orcas living in the Pacific Northwest. We are also learning about the threats facing Orcas and other marine animals and what we might do to help protect them.
Along with our studies, we have adopted a resident Orca whale in the San Juan Islands. We track our adopted whale's sightings and keep up to date on any happenings. We have gathered the information on our website, and have included useful links! Please join us on our Orca Adventure!
